My tests seem to show that 10pt varies with size depending on dpi (ie:
10pt on a 135dpi monitor is bigger than 10pt on a 96dpi monitor).
10px is exactly the same size on both, as it seems to be dpi-adjusted.

This happens to me, actually pretty much every time I log in. For me,
the situation is that my laptop's screen runs at 1280x800 and my
external monitor runs at 1920x1200, and I switch between the two all the
time mid-session. I never use twinview; I just disable one monitor and
enable the other.

After discussing this heavily, it seems that something in GNOME has px
and pt exactly reversed. "1 pt" = 1/72 inch, i. e. a 10 pt font should
have the same physical ruler height *everywhere*, whereas a 10 px font
has 10 physical dots on the monitor and thus its size is dependant on
the monitor's DP

Is this a correct one??Pls tell me if I did anything wrong...The program
doesn't crashes but the window is getting grey when I click to "exit"

in the mini menu of gnome applet. In the normal menu works perfectly.

Before ubuntu ditched serpentine in favour of brasero, it was dead easy
to make an audio cd. When you inserted a blank cd you got a dialogue
asking you whether you wanted to create a data or audio cd. Now you only
get the option to open the folder

I can confirm this bug... Quite annoying. I've switched off "Watch my
Library for new files" and we'll see what happens. It's a workaround
until this gets straightened out at least.
