Panel no longer changes window struts when resized
My screen is being detected properly at 135 dpi. My gnome capplet
correctly shows 135 dpi.
The problem is the combination of high dpi and low resolution screen
(1024x600) that is common on netbooks.
The result is most gnome dialog boxes don't fit the screen anymore with
a default font setting of

I was able to work around this bug by removing all hidden files in ~/.
Don't know which of them caused the bug, but those files were:.dmrc,
.esd_auth, .gksu_lock, .gtk-bookmarks, .ICEauthority, .mcoprc,
.mousetweaks.pid, .mtoolsrc, .pulse-cookie, .recently-used, .recently-
used.xbel, .Xauthority, .
The most serious problem is that now, though I change the password of
the keyring again to the initial (the same one that my user) gdm
continues failing.

I have am using Jaunty Alpha 6 X86 and have found that the Gnome-Panel
is always defaulting to screen :0.0 when duel screens are setup to run
on separate sessions. Programs launched on screen 2 are opening up on

Interestingly, adjusting the /usr/bin/tightvncserver script back to its
default geometry of 1024x768 appears to have fixed this issue. I do,
however, need to start metacity manually still to get the ability to
move windows. But it does not crash...
