Okay, after trying several times i finally opened it and got to the link
to a patch. The patch is written to patch one of the source code files,
hence pretty much useless to me since I'm not about to compile my own
version of Evolution. I wonder why the patch hasn't been picked up
already by Jaunty

when you want to extract it, the "Operation not supported" error

thanks for the report, are you using IMAP, POP, Exchange? what evolution
does in most of the cases is copy that message to the new folder and
strikeout the other in the previous folder (copy and mark to be
deleted), What happen if you expunge the folder?
