For what it's worth, I have a bog-standard Ubuntu (Ibex) install, but
the Totem player has yet to actually play any video in any email I've
received. The WMV files hang the player, and the one .mpeg file I've
tried (as described in the report) show

I have had this bug a few times now. I get it if Firefox is having
problems and I try to kill it, but I get impatient and click the force
quit button over and over. pkill gnome-panel or rebooting makes it go
away.

happen with me, using vinagre 2.25.92 - that one found in Jaunty.

I have the same with repeated insertions of the same audio CD.
Only one entry appears in Nautilus places, but each iterations adds
another desktop icon. All the desktop icons for the CD disappear when I
eject it.

I am still experiencing this problem. I have a sony vaio (I'm not sure
which). My backlight Fn keys didn't work however entering

I have something similar to your problem in Intrepid, Miloš. Totem seeks
forward on VOB files even when I press the left arrow, and clicking the
seek bar with middle button is imprecise.
No idea if it's the same bug as this though, but please let me know if
you open a separate bug?

Thanks for your quick reply. Ctrl-alt-fn has no effect. Also for
clarification: the mouse does move and the ok button does react to it by
turning the orange colour when clicked but it has no other effect.

I can confirm the previous post. I have been unable to open gnome-
volume-control and gnome-sound-properties. I have attached the output of
"lspci -v" to this post.
I did not get this problem in Intrpid 64 bit, but do in Jaunty Alpha 6
64 bit.
