I second bododod's comments - I have put up with this bug for over a
year now. It is especially bad for someone who then want's to correlate
GPS data (geotag) there photos.
How can we get this bug fixed before Jaunty?

My patch on bug #159996 desensitises the "Desktop Effects" tab if compiz
isn't installed. According to GNOME HIG 6.3.1

sensitivity.html.en), there should be an indication as to
gnome-keyring (2.25.90-0ubuntu1) jaunty; urgency=low
* New upstream version (LP: #327464).
- Removal of debian/patches/02_pthread_build_error.patch.
- Additon of debian/patches/02_fix_libs.patch to fix some libs references,
and thus addition of debian/patches/03_automake.patch.

The canon cameras in stiching mode generally append the image number
with sta_.jpg, stb_.jpg where is the same image number.
I would like to see this feature in f-spot also - perhaps calling hugin.
Not sure how other cameras handle photo stitch mode images though.

Trying to go in the 'other direction'. Evolution 2.23 on 64-bit laptop
to new Ubuntu 8.10 build on 32-bit desktop. The Migration from
evolution.backup.tar.gz stalls at 11%. Deleted .evolution/ and I
believe I have updated from the patched sources per previous post
instructions. I have looked at

My impression is that this "bug" was meant to be like it is right now.
If the previous is true, then this discussion should not exist within
this bug-reporting system. I can't convince myself that the developers
of nautilus didn't think about it, since many other operative systems
include this beh

I figured out that somehow the option for "Run a custom command instead
of my shell" became clicked under the "Title and Command" tab in
"Profile Preferences". I hope this helps others with this strange deal.

We should differentiating the two ways of sending a file to the trash
bin - dragging and dropping, or pressing the Delete key.
In the case of drag'n'drop, it is not expected to confirm the file
'deletion'. This is the way it is done on MS Windows also.
In the case of pressing 'Delete', I believe

Backspace key in GNU Screen not detected correct

I saved a public key with seahorse (after having searched it through a public
key server). When I double click the asc file (seahorse saves the public key
with this extension) nautilus reports:
"it's not possibile to decrypt the file
Meh, that broke the build, because the updated bbc patch dropped
src/plugins/bbc/Makefile.in.
I did a test build, and only afterwards spotted that file in the
diff.gz, so I cleaned it. That'll teach me to always do that first.
