information widget is gone. After downgrading to 0.8.2, it's back.

Yes even my desk top produces the correct answer. I dont know the reason of
having such an unusual bug. I always keep my ubuntu versions up to date.

just came across this bug report; why? -because in intrepid the floppy
drive was not recognized at install time and there is no entry in fstab
and no floppy in /etc/module; I was puzzled.
the panel disk mounter applet does not show any floppy drive.
so, I edited/added in fstab
/dev/f
sorry, I forgot
I want the floppy device to behave in a similar fashion like the usb
devices when plugged in - in other words be able to save to floppy the
MBR and the PBR's of my partitions using the dd command or, conversly,
restore from floppy same.

another workaround is to move or resize the window in that brief moment
that the window is un-fullscreen (ie, hit F11 and then _quickly_ grab
one of the window decorators to move or resize)
This method does require fast mousing skills, but is doable since
another aspect of this bug is that the win

The first piece of work to be done on the bug is to fix the
documentation:
