For me, the crash (assuming it's the exact same one) happens when I have
my laptop (Dell Latitude D620) in a port replicator, booted with an
external monitor on the port replicator and also with the lid open.

I don't recall any relevant updates, but the full CPU usage issue which

Guys,
I finally sorted out this one.
This was a problem of password. My Exchange account is password
protected (ovbiously), and I didn't let Evolution remember my password.
Now I've chosen to remember the pwd, and suddenly alarms are working!
Solved for me.

i set /media/BOX as tmp because i was burning iso file (4 giga) and i
had 3 giga free on /tmp folder (default). Then i unset gconf key with
gconf-editor. I think there is problem between brasero and gconf key:
