I've checked all the comments.
It's NOT solved. There's a temporary workaround with "Mouse Keys and
deselect [ ] Enable keyboard accessibility features"
But It's only TEMPORARY.
Without pressing Shift-NumLock, It's being enabled again.

filesystem of my external drive.
When I have nautilus hanging and try to unmount it via terminal - it responds

My ubunutu 8.04 was upgrades to 8.10 now Brasero will not burn anything.
It won't report media disk space correctly, it reports zero
It doesn't detect disk type.
So do we have to wait until Jaunty for a fix, no burning until then?

Further to original report I now have release data.
I have Evolution 2.22.3.1 and Ubuntu 8.04.

The patch from above seems to fix it for me, although there's an empty
window of the same small size as before, and the next blink it's gone
bigger and fully loaded.
This happens only when in Compiz, not metacity.
