On Intrepid when i try to scroll brightness-applet icon with mouse,
brightness is changing correctly, but when i click the icon, the center
of icon changes to red "disabled" mark and i can change brightness
Also, I noticed this is a function of the Gnome Power Manager - Power
Manager Brightness Applet 2.24.0 so I changed the package from acpi to
gpm, as the regular Fn keys method does work.

Okay, I get the same problem from evince trying to view output from the
pcal program.
I've attached the pcal calendar input file. I generate the .ps file via:
pcal -f dates.cal -o 2009.ps -P a4 -F 1 -n /12 2009
Run "evince 2009.ps" and get the following output:

Sigh! I wish you could more than one attachment at a time!
Anyway, added the resulting .ps file with the last attachment, THIS is
the input .cal file ...

This is a serious issue. -dpi 96 should never be used, unless the
actual DPI of your screen is 96, and for some reason it is not properly
auto-detected. Every other program, including GDM and the login themes,
needs to take into account a variable DPI, which is likely to be unique
to each user.

gnome-accessibility in Debian depends on dasher (>= 4.7.3). This
dependency was unversioned in Ubuntu due to the latest version
previously being 4.7.0 in Ubuntu. However, 4.9.0 is now the latest
version and the dasher dependency can now be versioned again.
