some video files to DVD or VCD. Using Brasero he was able to load the
videos and click the "Burn..." button on the main windows. A dialog
popped up with some options about NTSC, PAL, and aspect ratio. The

Dell Inspiron 5100. Under 8.04 the workaround used

I agree with David: there is a bug, we have seen it both. We only need
to find a way to reproduce it.
Well, I think changing the indexing preferences (like adding a path or
changing the language of the stemmer) will trigger the building
operation. Unfortunately, I don't have time for this right no
this should be fixed with the new trash backend which is going to be out
soon.

When drive is empty or after ejecting a CD/DVD disk, the big orange
eject button still is displayed in Nautilus. The user interface should
give some indication that the situation is different (ie - no disk
present)

GorillaBiscuit's idea didn't help. I tried wychwood's workaround of
removing /etc/init.d/gdm so I could get to a text interface login. That
worked, so I ran startx. That displayed my usual wallpaper, but no panel
started and there were no icons displayed. Then the screen froze with
the wait cursor

I have also checked with a different MPG file with the same result. So I assume
it's not a VOB related issue.
Additionally, I tried writing both file types to 'image file' rather than my
DVD burner. I still got the the 'burn' button greyed out on the burn panel.

I found it! It is at "Tool" button in each note, not in the "Tool"
menu at the main window! So, the bug is not it the addin but its help
:)

The bug, as I reported it, appears to be a duplicate of #270377. I have
closed the upstream Gnome bug, as it's not libvte, but apparently
compiz. (Does not occur at all when compiz is enabled, and anyway
occurs in xterm.)

Intrepid x32 on Intel T7100 (dual core laptop).
On my machine, it doesn't go to 100% when i login. It usually hogs CPU
after using Evolution to send emails (i haven't found it hogging CPU
when reading emails). Also, it only hogs AFTER I press send.

This issue appears to have resurfaced in the jaunty alpha version of Firefox.
As most of the above, I have an ATi card, and have reproduced the issue under
both the closed and open source drivers. Please let me know if I can provide
any further information.
