I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex Final Release with all updates. In
Nautilus When I click on ext3 partition to mount it then after 10-15
seconds on the right down corner of the screen apears this message:"An

I've opened up a Debian bug, I'll email the libgnomecanvas maintainer
to ping him about this. If we don't hear from him, I think it'd be

I have the same bug with 8.10 (64 bits) on a Dell Inspiron 1501. When I
press Fn+Up to change the brightness, the keyboard stops to work and I

The forced installation of gnome-power-manager negatively impacts LTSP
terminals, and really has no place in that environment...

Same problem for me (Hardy and Intrepid, transparent color background),
but setting the background to "none" does not change anything. I've got
to change the panel height to 25px to get it drawn correctly (and then
back to 24px without any problem).

I apologise for being vague... It was not my intention.
Steps are as follows:
I open GEdit -> Tools -> External Tools
In the left hand pane, where I see the titles of all 'installed' external
tools, I noticed I can rearrange the items to show up in such order within
the Tools main tool bar
@Holger: I am not sure why you could not get the updates... perhaps
'apt-get dist-upgrade' would do the trick.
