same here, I was unable to save any document with openoffice what was
opened from an smb share mounted by gvfs
In Hardy it was fine.
I use the attached script to mount my smb shares with gvfs. I can access the
files through nautilus or console, can copy, move, delete, etc.

you are probably right. the Problem lies on the Nautilus side. I have the
problem also with opening local folders containing thousands of jpg's and/or
avi's. It's not a gvfs problem.
Opening a local folder with this content takes also minutes to open and
nautilus is using 90% of CPU
One more addition:
the problem is only existent in the Natilus "List view", the other both
modes are just working as expected.

More information:
When kernel is compiled with old /proc acpi interface, everything works fine.
When clicking on the icon it even shows that battery is absent.
This is the default behavier in hardy, but I compiled 2.6.27 and turned /sys
interface on.
On the other hand interpid has /sys interface

lines shown to your /etc/apt/sources.list; then you either open
Synaptic, update the repositories, and select the package (evolution-

I could reproduce this in 8.10.

Right click on your cd/dvd player, choose Eject (make sure you didn't have any

Normally it's a workaround to use VLC instead (also has a mozilla
plugin) but right now there is bug #275980 which disables RTSP[1]
support in VLC.
