When I try to install a deb package on a remote filesystem by double
clicking on it, the package installer fails an

FWIW, I just installed 2.24.0-0ubuntu4~wgrant1 as a test and found that
it doesn't restore the left-handed setting after resume.

Intrepid: left-handed mouse setting forgotten after resuming from
sleep/hi
I'm not sure which bit of KDE should be setting this.
On a more pleasant note, a (largely) cosmetically-altered version of my
patch was just committed upstream. A new version (~wgrant2) with this
patch is building in my PPA right now; please test it once it's built.

don't you think that's comparing one feature is not enough to judge two
multimedia framework, gstreamer is better integrated in GNOME and has
many advantages over xine too

after unmounting the device, what do you call browsing a file on the
disk? you mean open something there? what application do you use?

I also can confirm this error.
Do you also notice the timer counting very quickly? 3 Second recording for me
was counted as 14 minutes & 39 seconds!
