The user has to confirm or cancel the action now, which is good.
Must do so one-by-one on every file, if you use the "save all" button, which is
questionable but a that is different issue.
The real problem I had is fixed now so this particular bug can be closed

I am still experiencing this problem, I have experienced this problem since I
first upgraded to the intrepid beta.
As it only says that it Could not connect to server, I cannot diagnose where
the problem more accurately, it is not in the firewall, and everything should
work fine if it is using h
My initial impression was that launchpad could be used for upstream
reporting because it had some sophisticated way of making these bugs
visible in various upstream projects.
I see now that was in err.
So, this bugs needs to go directly to gnome bug tracking.

Okay, too bad I wasn't able to give you the proper information to tackle
this bug and taking measures to prevent this bug from ever occurring
again with anybody. My 'fix' was when I finally decided to re-install my
entire machine a couple of weeks ago (not just because of this issue),
and up until
I just disabled my nightly gnome-panel killing script, so I'll let you
know tomorrow if the panel is still leaking memory.

I also encountered the problem. The temp fix worked (thanks), but it
was quite scary the first time evolution checked my mail. All the
errors piled up and I was anticipating a crash. A permanent fix would
be nice to see.

One more thing I remember (if anyone ever runs into this problem again
and happens to stumble upon this report) - the problem temporarily went
away when I didn't log out of Gnome properly (but used CTRL-ALT-
Backspace for example). The next time I logged out of Gnome properly,
the problem returned.
The bug occurred in Gutsy definitely. I used Hardy only very briefly,
so I don't know if it occurred there. Right now I have no dedicated
Linux box, due to massive (hardware?) instability on what was once my
primary workstation. I will not have time to correct this situation for
several weeks.
