In a vanilla Hardy install with all of the latest updates, folder
sharing does not have an NFS option. For those of us in a pure *nix,
using NFS should be an option when setting up shares. This has always
been an option in previous versions of Ubuntu.

I have since switched to using Kubuntu Intrepid and have not (yet) noticed
this issue. When I filed this bug report I was using Ubuntu 8.04. I did see

This is not a "I wish it were otherwise" feature request: This is an
accessibility and usability bug.
When a user makes a data format input/display choice, a choice supported
by the software, they are making an accessibility choice. If the
software gets it wrong, the software requires correction.
Loaded X-Lite sip client on a windows system and verified that
Diamondcard is ignoring SIP unregister command. Appears there is not a
specific issue with Ekiga but instead with Diamondcard. Have referred
this issue to them.

I guess the thing is that smbfs is no longer used cifs is used transparently
instead.
exept it's not transparent at all so all of my old scripts broke disabling
my server.

Hey. I've attached a patch i made for rhythmbox 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu3 in
intrepid (ubuntu 8.10).
It's very light, only one line adjusted in shell/rb-shell.c
Bug description;
The method rb_shell_set_visibility saves the window state even after the window
has been hidden, and thus sets window
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
If you right click on the trash applet, you can see the "empty trash"
item that is clickable even if the trash is empty. You can continue to
click more and more but the item remains clickable.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 with Trash Applet 2.24.0.

there is no function to automatically send bugs upstream, changes to do
that have been discussed several time but that's not something which has
been done yet, the tool would probably not copy the bug upstream anyway
because making it too easy for users to copy a bug upstream would also
mean loweri
I disabled SCIM for my current user and that solved the problem. Is this
expected behaviour or is this still a bug?
