The problem of evince is that it only sends the even pages to CUPS and

the login window) if you Ctrl-Alt-F2 to a terminal then the system

install, just oepn gdmsetup, change the theme to Human List, then reboot :
The theme will be Cercles and the Combobox will be on "Random from Selected". I
had already this bug on hardy x86 and I have it again on Intrepid x
Another thing : it happens only the first time you change the theme. If
you setup the theme once the bug encountered, it will work.

Upstream just released 2.24.2 with a couple of bug fixes:
1) Make the YouTube plugin faster by fixing some locking problems
2) Prepare python for use from multiple threads and add missing locking where
applicable
3) update the intltool requirement
With all updates installed, I tried 6 random dvd's: with two I directly
got stuck at the language selection menu, three gave a 'failed to
connect stream error' and one actually played, but didn't allow seeking
through the track or going back to the menu.
