I found that to use a workaround to restart gnome-keyring-daemon from
command line in a way to reuse the existing socket: the env var
GNOME_KEYRING_TEST_PATH. This var should be set to the /tmp/keyring-
that was previously in use.
For example:

I've tested this suite in the MID live environment.
The layout is a little cramped at 800x600, but acceptable at 1024x600.
The hildon patch is no longer required with this set of packages.
Pairing with a keyboard worked, and the keyboard was then usable.

Just tried the fix. Unfortunately I can still reproduce the bug with some pdf
files (see attachement for an example pdf file) and therefore this bug should

After opening and moving the mouse the screen hangs on "loading..." again.

thanks for the report, does the same happens if you try to do the
install with xterm? does the whole terminal hangs or just the program
installation?

I'm testing Intrepid with gnome-power-manager 2.24.0. When I move cursor
on Battery icon in gnome panel a tooltip shows 89,6% battery capacity,
but when I left click on battery a menu pops up and shows in polish

ubuntu is a distribution, it means we distribute free software code
written by other people and try to integrate it to give a good user
experience, upstream are the people writting the software. the ubuntu
team is small and often the people triaging the bug on launchpad don't
know the code concerne

This most likely a problem in the evolution data server handling but the
symptom is from gnome-panel, so I will let somebody more knowledgeable
handle reassigning to the correct package.
In any case, clicking on the clock applet produces a hang with the

Aplay does indeed work correctly. This command:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ aplay /usr/share/sounds/ekiga/busytone.wav
Playing WAVE '/usr/share/sounds/ekiga/busytone.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little
Endian, Rate 8000 Hz, Mono
produces the expected sound.
