Yes, its exactly the same behavior. For instance, if you changed the
metadata track number to 1 for every track on a cd then after you import
every song will be track 1 on the cd, even though the metadata for the
various songs will be different.

did you use file-roller or only nautilus? there was a bug about file-
roller changing rights on directory which created similar issues and
which has been fixed. do you still get the bug using current versions?

could you open the bug to bugzilla.gnome.org directly? you seem to be
the only one to get the issue and can probably better reply to their
comment than bug triagers who don't get the bug

Confirmed. It took a little figuring out, but by doing "xprop | grep
WM_CLASS &" I was able to then do "vi foo.gpg" in the same term. It was
a little weird since both xprop and seahorse make it impossible to focus
any other windows.
