Tried those steps (apart from Part D, I understand that's just to add an

Hi Sam, my `global' in the bug's title means `not per-profile for a
single user', not `for all gnome-terminals across all users', so

Rhythmbox would finish what it was playing then stall when starting the
next song. The only solution was to close everything that was using
sounds (Firefox, Pidgin, Rhythmbox) and start it all up again.

I think it is not reproducable, since I no longer have encountered this problem.
When it happened, the "gdm" had started twice, which caused it all.
However, since then, the gdm does not start at boot, at all, anymore.

I upgraded to Intrepid yesterday, and it is still not working right,
although the symptoms are slightly different.
as I connect there start 2 programs, the first is f-spot (0.4.4), which

I don't think he has a problem with the resolution. I think he wants
that resolution, but with thicker borders on all themes for the sake of
accessibility, which is a perfectly reasonable request.
I am bouncing ideas around in my head about how to fix this one.

I think is not a problem of file-roller, but of winrar port for linux.
I had the same problem, so i tried then to extract the files with the console
client, i saw there was problems even in listing the files with winrar.
Later i tried the p7zip-rar, wich seems to work fine, a possible solution may

I can confirm that photos with spaces in the filename are now imported
correctly. However, if the filename contains other punctuation
characters the problem is identical to the above. With my photo
collection it was at least the following characters: & , ( )

My Intrepid (fresh install) Doesn't want to re-boot or shut down what am I
