With the bug being a bit intermittent it is hard to give a definitive

The ssh sync should require the folder option to be entered,
or at least default to something else than the user's home directory.
This would also then allow the folder sync to default to the
same local location to easily

Yeah.
I think it would be a small but intuitive nicety if it was no delay on
first failed attempt, but then its a normal 3 second delay on the second
failed attempt.

Just wanted to confirm this is happening in other apps, Pidgin in my

Until nautilus can in some other way distinguish between which files
could want to be executed.
surely the sane default for ubuntu to use would be to "view executable text
files when they are opened" instead of "ask each time"
