with any 1024x768 image that I have tried. Have you tried maximizing
nautilus while you were trying to reproduce the bug?

does work for me under intrepid studio.

Well, if the user set it to 10 secs they probably want it to be 10
seconds.
Also, the actual timing is off. For example during the countdown, gdm
auto logs the user in after 8 seconds, so the timing is still off.

FWIW, I did see that this bug was first reported in Intrepid. But I

by with an LTS release? Can't see any progress on a fix. Anyone heard

I made the changes as indicated, but when I went to save the file, it
said that I didn't have permission. I signed on as super user and it still
said the same thing. However, the next time the computer booted up
the sound on the movie viewer worked. The system sounds still do not.

still an issue. run the following command:
for i in `seq 1 1000`; do mkdir foobardir; cd foobardir; done
then delete this stack of folders (graphically, right click -> move to
trash...)
when you now try to empty your trash... nothing happens. the trash is
not emptied and there is not even any er

I'm still having this issue both in Hardy and Itrepid. I didn't mention
before that I'm using Xubuntu, so it's possible that some GNOME-specific
thing is missing.

I stopped using my wacom graphire2 tablet with ubuntu, as pressure
sensitivity was not working with wine&photoshop, and there is no 100%
working solution for running Adobe CS3 on wine (photoshop, fireworks,
dreamweaver). Since then i did not experience that behavior.
Thanks for the response.
Fix tested and working as expected, commit it to ubuntu updates when you
want :)
