I had the 100% exact same problem that Andy describes. However, for me
it was not a problem with Nautilus at all, and just a misconfiguration
of samba's name resolution.
The way I fixed it was
sudo gedit /etc/samba/smb.conf
Uncomment this line (remove the semicolon)

It would seem that the version that I put together was using the
_previous_ released version that I had already on my computer.
This patch is based on the version currently in Hardy as the latest
available. A binary build of it is in my PPA, with the ~ppa1 package
version suffix.

I think the problem here is not that Sound Juicer "sometimes" detects the right
drive.
It does not.
Instead, it always uses the one selected in the settings dialog.

When iBook is powered from a battery, the screen is blanked after a
period of inactivity, but backlight isn't turned off. I'd expect GNOME
Power Manager to turn off the backlight as well to save battery and/or
