Yes, please disable animation. It persists on a fully upgraded hardy
with intel (i915) graphics here. For the scope of affected people: At

Did a very quick check, and it seem to work. The Trash behave as
expected: show full when something is deleted in one of the autofs
mount, we can empty trash just fine and we do not get the error in the
log anymore. Looks good to me!

I would guess this should be assigned to 'gnome-sound-properties', as
changing settings there seems to have fixed the issue. As per Niels
comment above, changing the mixer settings to "ALSA" caused the sound to
work properly again.
