left all the themes etc. as default, added the bookmark and I can
replicate the same behaviour. I also added the bookmark to my desktop
machine (I first noticed it on my laptop) and the behaviour is the same.

partitions)
Really appreciate that someone(s) is/are attempting to fix this issue.

Connecting to our University's webdav server works fine via Nautilus. It
asks for both username and password, and displays the contents.

e.g. in KDE as well, just make a new (invalid) .desktop file: right click on
desktop,new, text file.
Name it "test1.desktop" - and try to edit it - at least I can't do it easily.
If you doubleclick it - you get the error "... hast no entry "Type=..." - which
is ok, but you can't EDIT it.

The bug is common to using either the text location bar or the button
location bar - I was describing the problem with the standard URL
location bar. The display of a button for subfolder just exited is
expected behaviour, but the location is indicated by a depressed button,
which under normal cir
marking this bug as invalid as I know longer have the problem, along
with no longerhaving the system to retest things.

Ok, the spacing didn't come out quite as I had hoped, but hopefully you

After 2008/06/23 update...
After gnome session login, no icons or background image are displayed as
expected
After restart X-server, background and icons are drawn on screen, but compiz
and avant do not work.
