i have an m-audio delta 44... excellently controlled by alsamixer in the
terminal or by envy24control application.
volume control is unfortunately not able to set global volume comfortably.
if i move the global volume slider, only the left ch
if double clicked, vocal controls mixer shows up as expected.
yet it shows me all sorts of channels which don't exist on my interface.
mono-outputs 1-4 of my interface are shown as stereo outputs, therefore
breaking up the stereo channel routing completely when set to "digital mixer"
mode.

well the playback of the movies i have are really inconsistent. the majority
of the time this occurs is whenever i first download the movie. some of the
small clips are coming from a breakdance forum i go to.

I have had a similar behavior today and I solved it by moving my
mail/local/Inbox* files to another dir when evo and all helper programs
were *not* running, starting evo, and then moving them back while it
*was* running (this was accidental but it worked
I'm experiencing the same issue. However, I didn't have this same
problem under Gutsy 32-bit. I'm now running Hardy 64-bit, and have
noticed my ripping speeds drop from about 12-14x down to about 5x or so.

When I download SteamInstall.msi, nautilus doesn't identify it as an
application/x-msi type, but instead as "OLE2 compound document storage"

As an additional note, it seems to vary quite dramatically depending on
the disc. Some discs rip at an almost normal rate, whereas others seem
to go much more slowly. Yet some of the discs that rip slowly don't
appear to have any damage, etc. Very odd, but there we go!

There must be something wrong. I found I can open the pdf in bug 209145
properly while the pdf file in this bug remains Mojibake.
So I think it's not a duplicate of bug 209145.
Could anyone gives an explanation?
