Cannot
Updated to the final release of Firefox 3 from Synaptic. Still the
problem persists. Also the Network manager shows "No network connection"
even when I am typing this online. It used to be so even at the time of
Gutsy, but FF2 didn't bother me. The problem also shows up in Pidgin.

Finally I've figured out a workaround, but this is really just a workaround.
1. Delete the following lines from the section in the
/usr/share/gconf/defaults/05_panel-default-setup.entries file
fast_user_switch
2. run
update-gconf-defaults

with group root instead of plugdev, so that the usb device is unusable
untile I give:

I use a CRT 15" monitor and ubuntu only allows me 2 resolutions, both of which
put Tali, blackjack and lagno unplayable, even by trying to set up other screen
resolutions (of which I managed to create 1 ) they are too big.
I was used to windows XP on a resolution that made all the screens fit.

Was to early again... The problem persists but what happens is that the
"Scale" parameter changes itself to 1 (%) even though the Epiphany
session starts out with 100 (%). Typically when the browser is started
and you do the first printout, "scale" is set to 100%. However, at the
next print attempt
I have the same problem.. The display becomes white and the only
workaround is to kill the screensaver process.
Happens a lot when I log out or switch to another user.

I have not been able to reproduce with Hardy, since I do not have a
Hardy install currently to test with.
The steps are as listed above:
Do not save GAL password
Do not dismiss GAL dialog when displayed during the reply phase
Reply to an email when evolution expects there to be an attachment and
I have removed my old ~/.mozilla directory, and now xchat has appeared
in the launch dialog! I suspect it was a problem with the transfer of
profiles from firefox 2 to firefox 3.

cause an exit command. Here is an example cut and pasted when gnome-
terminal is set to "stay open on exit".
