I can confirm this behavior on Dell Inspiron 640m and Ubuntu 8.04 To
check it you need only laptop with mouse and touchpad.
As it was already suggested, tap on a touchpad should always be resolved
to a left mouse button click of right handed mouse (do not know how to
explain this more clearly).

For the record, I got about 7 replies to my "call for testing
langpacks", and all were positive. Translations continue to work, in
particular, the Finnish ones work perfectly with Firefox now, too.

fwiw, the file is downloaded without write permission. so you dont
really risk to loose edited content as long as the editor app properly
deals with files it cannot write to. The problem about downloading every
auto-opened file to a persistent location is that this will clutter that
directory with

Strange but it works now. I don't know how but it is solved. I tried the

After a bit more looking around, it seems that it is the "file-roller"
package which has the problem.
To determine this, I executed the following command in the console when
reproducing the bug :
xprop | grep WM_CLASS
I then clicked on the dialogs, which gave me this output :

I played around with this bug a litte further - it was not easy to find
a bullet-proof way of reproducing the behaviour. However, I hope I
finally suceeded: Please try the attached demo file (instructions are
included). The bug only shows up when the mouse's scroll wheel is used.

I can not really get a backtrace as evolution itself does not crash but here is

I have a filters set up to move mails from my Exchange account to the
local mailbox.
When a mail arrives the filter works, the mail gets copied into the
correct location. If that message is the last message in that folder it
won't fully delete.

I had this problem too, but logging out and then back in again solved
it: the
I did this before, but now I found out that it's not really necessary to
trigger the bug. The most important part seems to be scrolling down 20
times using the mouse wheel (and I mean scroll strokes). Just in case
you ask yourself if such a complicated bug could ever occur in real
