I create a new message and then click on icon to add attachments, then
the "add attachment" box opens, then I click on left site to my network
directory place, choose the file in the file list and press "add".
After that the it looks like the attachment is on but then the error
message pops up.

Totem
Neither with:
Amarok or VLC
What am I missing? I use to play with Totem on Ubuntu 7.10 without any problem.

I think I had this bug before with an earlier version of Ubuntu. What had
caused it was that I had taken out the lines
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
from my /etc/network/interfaces file. Adding those lines back in fixed the
problem for me. Hope this helps.

The program at start from the menu opens with the big buttons. At change
of kind of the calculator it simply is not removed on the screen. The
calculator looks equally with included and with switched off compiz.
