first of all I don't have partitions mounted under /media, there are mounted

It is correct that since Hardy the mounted partition in the home directory
appears twice in nautilus, with a folder symbol and with a volume symbol. A

I tried a lot of file types, ended up realising that this was only
happening to my .css files. What was different about .css from all
other files was that Scribes was the extension handler for it. I'm
therefore marking this bug as invalid and reporting it to the Scribes
dev team.

I'm terribly sorry that I can't provide you with a way to reproduce this
right at this moment.
When I open certain files over SFTP I get an "Authentication Required"
screen. This screen is then frozen, but can be minimized, and the
cursor changes to a text-edit
