The underlying problem is still an issue with the NVIDIA driver's
handling of offscreen windows. An upcoming NVIDIA release will resolve
it. This fix is to partially help so at least people can lock their
screen and suspend/resume and still get the dialog. (Better than
nothing)

Ahh It gets clearer now. I thought the world-clock uses the location
where I pressed 'set' as home. Thence my incredulity about the clock
changing how it works despite me not fiddling with its preferences.
I assumed the clock should keep the last 'set' location regardless of
the system timezone.

My system is a Ubuntu hardy on a R60 lenovo, it seems that Gnome does
not save well the following desktop setting: everytime I put the two
bars as you can see on the attached screenshot, however after a normal
system restart the two bars
Having the same problem on Hardy, I wrote a tiny perl script which
listen to session state change events and executes 'nvidia-settings -l'
every time the session is activated. I made Gnome start (and stop) the
script adding an item for it in System->Preferences->Sessions.

some of the music that i transfer into the ipod will not work, the i pod
will show the song but when i go to play it, it will play for a few
seconds and then go to the next song, thats if it plays at all. plz help

that's weird than the command line play the video correctly and not
totem, the same codecs and mechanism are used in both cases, could you
attach an example video to the bug?
