doing the move (see nautilus-file-operations.c:verify_destination()) by
querying the file system, so that we're sure we have space to complete
the move and we don't have to abort midway through. Fundamentally, the

Did the update a few minutes ago, and there have been some libhal...
files updated. But the problem still exists. With the Hardy-kernel
(2.6.24-16-generic) I receive 2 error messages when I try to play a
video DVD in Kaffeine:
1) "Source could not be read. You don't have enough rights, or the the

This is GIOs job. We do not check for the required space if
G_FILE_ATTRIBUTE_FILESYSTEM_FREE is not present. The onliest problem
seems to be that the lack of this filesystem info

I believe the updates are off by a factor of 10 though. So that an
interval setting of 10.00 yields an actual update rate of 1 per second.

I have a window share mounted by smbmount command.
I can't copy a Openoffice file (.odt) from a folder to another folder
within that smb share if the file is opened in OpenOffice.

I confirm this issue with a fersh new Hardy install, usb file transfer
has always been fine with the previous Hardy distros, so it must
probably be a gvfs related issue.
