Problem exists for me as well in Ubuntu 8.04. I cannot open a file via
sftp. It asks for my password twice and then gives a "General Internet
Error". I've gotten around this by running Open Office Calc via a ssh
session, but this is a very slow way and taxing on my server.

1) The error is reproducible. I re-tested renaming a couple of different
files. While txt, mp3, csv, pdf, jpg, vcf, ods, doc, tar.gz, and xls
file are easily renamed, avi, wmv, mpg, mp4 and flv files are not. I
just realized that the blank screen that appears seems to display the

In the past two months, My evolution's filter worked well, so I didn't pay
attention to this bug.
But after a short vacation, my emails accumulate for hundreds when I re-opened
the evolution. I tried "ctrl+y" on the new emails before they were downloaded
completely. After
I still have this problem, but it appears to be a gvfs problem since it
hangs when a SSH share is left open in Nautilus. Also, the Backtrace
doesn't list anything when the window turns gray.

Yes. You're right. The partition where I was working on is FAT32.
If I remember well, the fat32 fs itself memorize files with all upper-case
letters. Are Long File Names extension and vfat that create the difference
between cases.
Anytime it is a bug of the linux fat32 driver?
