The 'Unlock' button worked if I just type 'users-admin' in the terminal,
(without sudo or gksu in front of the command)
Then I checked my 'users-admin' launcher setting in the alacarte menu

Thanks for your report, i don't think is a "major" usability issue, you
can always click on the dropdown and get the calendar which is highly
more userfriendly instead of using the text box, to be send upstream by
someone interested on the feature, leaving this as incomplete until it
gets forwarded

Testing "gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=file:///path/to/video" produces the
same results as Totem... reboot, launch via that method, no sound and
play back stops after a few seconds. Close the window. Launch again and
plays normally with audio/sound as expected.

I'm still having a problem with this. Ubuntu 8.04, on two different
computers, one is PPC & the other is i386. I have the gnome-panel
(1:2.22.1-0ubuntu1) installed that supposedly fixed the issue in
