Okay, when trying to reply to a post in Ununtu Forums in which you wish
to make an attachment you cannot. The Attachments menu drops down but
shows nothing, nothing, blank, like there is a link to file browser
missing.
I'm using latest updates, Hardy, 64-bit, Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, nvidia

This shows the permissions on the mounted drives. As you'll see I
shouldn't get an icon on my desktop for "JoDocs", and jo shouldn't get
icons for "AndyDocs" or "AndySharedDocs"

I noticed that the problem comes when I have a location added to the
clock. It hangs up the laptop. I use the Fn+F1 to sleep the computer,
then during wake up Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart safely with cleanly
unmounting hard disk.
Clicking on the Clock - Hanging up the whole desktop - Kills my time.

Apologies: I retract part of my post, to the extent that I've just tried
gnome-display-properties again, and this time, it *was* possible to
enable both monitors (i.e. giving dual screens). Last time I tried this
a week or two ago, enabling the second monitor disabled the first; so I

Hi! As I said, it occurs sometimes, not often, so next time it will
happen, I'll attach my xsession-errors log. About th other new user it's
the same, it have to occurs to say. But if you want, I can post the
xsession-errors file that I have right now, if is useful.
