Problem appeared after upgrading from Gutsy to Ubuntu 8.04 beta.
gcalctool (5.22.0-ubuntu2) crashes just after start. There's no screen
of gcalctool appearing, just information about crash I've sent.

I can confirm that I am also getting the same error as captainron042,
with an SSL connection to smtp.att.yahoo.com, and the problem only
started recently.
I am wondering what port Evolution uses to send mail with an SSL
connection. AT&T says to use port 465, and Evolution may be using port

I tried again today, with gvfs 0.2.2svn20080403-0ubuntu1. I found that
the mount storm is currently pretty slow, but the gvfsd-trash processes
seem to be accumulating endlessly. After ~45 minutes, it has mounted

As I said previously, I have a computer running Hardy beta and I still
have this issue with evince and the hpijs driver -- I can test other
applications if you want, I can tell you that firefox, openoffice, and
xpdf work, I dont print much else.

It now seems fixed/almost fixed. The first PDF I tried (see below) took
a very long time between data being sent and a page coming out. Each
subsequent page also took some time and the last three didn't print at
all (duplex on). However I tried another PDF of similar size and it
printed quite quick

Same problem on a brand new clean install of 8.04B (but I am using a new
GeForce 9600 with the proprietary 171.06 NVIDIA driver since there doesn't seem
to be any resolution support > 800x600 available for that video card in Hardy.

This is totally a bug in my view. There's no reason to disable the GUI
to configure gdm.conf simply because it's not running, and the decision
to do so should be revisited. I'd argue this is more "wishlist" than
"invalid".
