I have this problem as well on 8.04. Sometimes on startup the
evolution-data-server is consuming 100% cpu, and occasionally (twice
since installing 8.04 3 weeks ago) the evolution-data-server has started
consuming 100% cpu in the middle of my session, perhaps 20-30 minutes
after starting Ubuntu.
Can anyone confirm whether this problem is related to the problem in
tsclient where a custom keyboard layout sends the wrong keys to the
Windows server?
To reproduce (in Ubuntu Hardy beta using US english settings):

Oh, I forgot to say the monitor has a VGA connector, plugged into the PC
to the VGA one.
PC is a desktop with an ATI 9600 XT graphics card, AGP. The card has
VGA, DVI and TV-out connectors, I just use the VGA one.
