After an X crash, I have this bug with a Hardy up-to-date. I've
workarounded it in firefox by setting the DPI in about:config to 96, but
yelp, devhelp, epiphany and liferea are still affected.

I have the same problem. For me it happened when I upgraded my RAM from
1GB to 4GB. First I thought it might be a problem with MTRRs, but it
seems only gdm is making problems.

directory would result in unexpected behaviour, e.g. podcasts being
played when shuffling music.

Both started with the wrong resolution. I changed the resolution with

I`m using Cover art, Jamendo, Last.FM, Song Lyrics, Visualisation and Remuco
(bluetooth remote control). After few days, Rhythmbox crashed unexpectedly.
Yes, it happens every time.
After removing plugins (disabling plugins) i can play my music.but, this is
not a real solution.

Wrong resolution in gnome after restart was fixed by #191878.
Wrong resolution in GDM is not a bug because gnome-display-properties only set
resolution for gnome.
If you want to change it, you'll have to change it manually in xorg.conf.

could this be related to too small ram? Bug 208365 is about the same
problem occuring quite often in a 128mb ram system.
