libgnome-desktop doesn't use the gtk xrandr api and this patch should
not make a difference. we need to make sure libgnome-desktop is testing
correctly if the system supports xrandr 1.2, if the drivers are buggy
and claim supporting it and don't then we need to trap the xerror and
not crash

I enabled bug buddy because it was useful before... opening launchpad
with a new blank bug.
It is in .local/share/applications and there it gives the fault also.
The 'report a problem' also does not work, but does not give an error
after it is 'starting'; it just vanishes after some disk-trashing
This maybe related to the Global Catalog Name server setting. If it's
available it's much faster.
Removing it also speeds things up...

I tried to obtain a backtrace, but the program behavior was somewhat
changed.
Normally, when exiting (closing or rebooting computer), it would
segfault and ask to report the bug. No more than an annoyance, since I

The plugin doesn't have a configuration dialog that's ok and it works
fine with Hardy, feel free to re open this bug if you encounter the same

The obvious way to fix this would be to add a entry to each
city in Locations.xml. Unfortunately, that would be a very tedious task.
It may be better to add timezone information to locations where the
distance code gives the incorrect result, and use the distance code as a
default.
