Yes, there are reaons for this. Primarily, because it usually does not
make sense to mount hardware on a different machine, since you do not
have physical access to it. The more important reason, though, is to
prevent a race condition between the local foreground user session and
other sessions. If
(Another reason for "wont fix" is that g-v-m stopped doing the automount
handling in Hardy, but that's really secondary.)

When i open the system monitor and hit the tab resources, the cpu use
goes to 100%, and i can't see the graphics, also the background has
change to black, strange because it was white, last time i saw it. The
only alternative is to close the system monitor

1. Remove ~/.thumbnails/fail ;
2. Open a directory with images - the thumbnails are generated and shown;
3. Move some of the images to the trash bin;
Expected result:
Show the thumbnails for the images in "Trash"
