To see totem with color video - start totem- go to preferences then
click on a buttons that says set to default. At this point the video
becomes colorized. You have to play with color characteristics of video

I have now seen this on Crux, High Contrast Inverse, and High Contrast
Large Print Inverse. That's all of the default Ubuntu themes now, so I
think it's pretty clear: this is not theme- or engine-dependent. But

Ben Romer's suggestion worked for me. To insure that network manager
starts before evolution, I used System->Preferences->Sessions under the
Current Sessions tab to change the order for nm-applet to 45, and then
saved the current session (under the Session Options tab, click Remember
currently r
