OK, you where right. I had a custom keyboard layout that tried to
generate some funky Unicode characters using AltGr and the arrows. It's
still weird that the bug manifested even when I didn't use that layout.

What I meant to say was; nautilus hangs so I have to force close it.
Therefore apport doesn't generate a crash report, since it technically

I can confirm that this appears to be fixed in Hardy Heron Alpha 4
(tested both with live CD and installed on hard disk). The launcher on
the GNOME panel correctly has spaces replaced by %20, and opens the
folder without problems.

I'm using en_US.utf8 and Japanese language support installed through
System > Language Support. I also have SCIM installed and I can type
Japanese and save them as well with no problem, however these files were
from a Windows environment, but I am not sure if that is to blame.
