I solved my problem! It seemed that after some update the pictures in
the package gnome-backgrounds-extra-debian were all of zero length. The
segmentation fault was caused by this. I solved the problem by removing
the gnome-backgrounds-extra-debian package. Everything works perfectly
again.

I dont know if my bug really relates to this but i think so.
What i did:
I fiddled around with the user management in kubuntu (System Settings, User
Managament)
Added a user, and deleted him again because i couldnt login with the new user.
I moved on to the console and added a new user with usera
Um, Sorry, i noticed to late that i was in the ubuntu path of launchpad and not
in kubuntu.

I am not an expert, but I do think this is a gnome-python-extras bug. A python
object should live as long as there are any references held to it.
In this case the Spell object still holds a reference to the TextView object.
So the Spell object should increase the reference counter on the TextView

issue and a workaround. I use a laptop, and when I log in the network
connection is not established. However, if I understand how Evolution
works, the evolution-data-server process is already started and appears

gtk-qt-engine is installed, yes.
I use a custom theme using clearlooks and the nuevoxt icon set. Changing
the theme back to Human didn't help. Btw, it's not only in the desktop
background tab the app crashes - also when changing theme etc - seems to
happen around 5-10 seconds after it has started
Do you have numbers on what they do now and how better you think they
should do? How do you know that the example are just not something the
printer can't handle and if the applications are not already well
optimized?

In a given pdf with two images image1 and image2,
when you try to save an image, it is always image1 that is save, no matter what
you try.

The ldd log show that you have custom library in the local directory
taking over the distribution, not an ubuntu issue, you should not open
bugs against ubuntu if you do such change to your installation

Nautilus is running,
Haven't tried with another user on my computer, but, talking to other ubuntu
users they report the same problem.
