Confirmed, here is a quick way to reproduce:
(1) Create a temporary folder (henceforth folder "A") and put some files in it
that can be deleted (ie you dont care about.)
(2) Create another temporary folder which I will refer to as folder "B". Within
folder B create a symlink to folder A.

I don't know if many of the developers have worked in a non IT work environment.
Because in these environments the Project folder and filenames are often used
to differentiate files, not the contents as most companies use templates.

I am the reporter of bug #188004. I can tell his bug is not a duplicate.
I can also confirm it, I get the same error message when inserting a CD
or DVD.
In the bug report above, I didn't get any error message
I can as well add that killing gnome-volume-manager results in only one
window opening, as it should be. But surely in this case no automatic
playback of DVDs, for example, will be available.

there's no idea of knowing why the file-roller suddenly stops and doesn't want
to unpack the archive I just replaced which file-roller apparently thought was
missing.

Some more testing shows that if the file begins with anything but "using
...", syntax highlighting will be disrupted. This includes
spaces/newlines, and valid lines of code that do not contain the keyword
