I'm not sure how gnome-screensaver relates to xscreensaver here, but i'm
using gnome-screensaver and the bug is about gnome-screensaver

The nautilus version as listed in Synaptic is 1:2.20.0-0ubuntu7. I'm
running Ubuntu 7.10 so I cannot test the bug on the last version.

This kinda works with Nautilus 2.21.90, if you delete the link with:
right click and click on delete on the context menu it works fine and
delete the link, but if you delete with a "send to trash" and then try
to clean up the trash nautilus waits forever for finishing the task.

I'm having similar problems with evince when I enable compiz. Basically,
evince will open with the wrong geometry (slightly higher than the
screen) and more than half its window would be outside the screen (top-
left corner almost at the centre of the screen). But evince is not the
only application
Just a minor correction: the openoffice.org "do you want to save your
changes?" dialog is actually created as full-screen, which is really
annoying to say the least. I've also found the behaviour to be

Turns out this does *not* only happen when you've first started the
computer. It just happened to me again, and I my computer's been on all
day. (The problem always happens when the computer is first turned on,
as described by other comments--but apparently it will happen at other
times, too.)

Oh, I misread your comment. You were -creating- an archive, not extracting one.
I tried my scenario where I extracted an archive to a volume that was nearly
full and became full upon extraction and the files were removed when the
