I am using Hardy and this happen in all five testing machines with different
hardware configuration.
I decided to report this behavior because I consider it annoying to have two
steps action instead of one for saving files through Nautilus.

I'm seeing the same issue with nvidia and radeon chipsets.
Add new panel, setting the orientation to "Left" or "Right, the size to 100
pixels, and selecting "Expand".
Add Window List applet (or drag original Window List applet to the new panel)

Yes, it does work. But I believe that Totem should work on all m3u files
created using Windows Notepad or gedit. It shouldn't be necessary to use
vi to edit them. Can Totem ignore that extra ^M?
