This time I used (like the first time) directories full of *.desktop files.
After copying and changing ownership of a bunch of files (procedure described

I have setup our company printer Xerox Workcenter 7228 with system-
config-printer, I do not know if the PPD file set's the default page
size to 8x11cm (or something like that) but I changed it to A4 in the
"Printer options" tab. However applications

I am using gutsy gnome. Whenever I open a folder with mp3 files, the
nautilus becomes very unresponsive. Each click or right click takes a
long time to bring the mp3 under focus or to bring the right-click menu
respectively. This slow-down does not seem to happen in folders with no
mp3.
Previously
Unless python-louie and python-coherence can be promoted to main,
presumably the best option here is to move the upnp plugin into its own
package which is at most Recommends and can Depend on those two things.

In both Ubuntu and Ubuntu Studio the login/out sounds aren't being
played. In Ubuntu Studio, the system sounds are used either.
They are set if one looks in System->Preferences->Sound->"Sounds" tab
but cannot be previewed from here.

Pedro: don't mark bugs as invalid just because they don't have enough
information, there is an "Incomplete" tag for it, and also if there is
no enough information, ask for it, don't just say "reopen when there is
more", the reporters isn't usually developers so they don't know which
information is
As the original reporter, I just want to say that I'm still
experiencing this bug. Hopefully Denis Washington (or someone else) will
be able to put link here to an upstream bug report so that someone can
re-open this bug report.
In the meantime, this invalid bug is still very much present on my H

This is happening for me running Kubuntu gutsy (with Feisty kernel) on a
Dell Inspiron 1521. This seems related to Bug #107399. I think it's
more likely an X, or X-driver problem. I'm using fglrx

Just had this issue my self. I have noticed it maybe 10-20 times before.
$ wc -l nautilus-debug-log.txt

$ tail -3 nautilus-debug-log.txt

Running Xubuntu Hardy Alpha 3 from LiveCD and I can confirm that I only

To make it clear: the Localization Preferences dialog was unfunctional
because nothing was implemented yet. It also won't make it for GNOME
2.22, so we don't build it anymore since 2.21.5 (released today). So
when you update to that version, the non-functional dialog will be gone.
