This is probably caused by bug in libtracker.
tracker_connect return not-null value even if tracker daemon is not installed.
That means, that nautilus will always try to use tracker instead of built-in
search.

OK I've learned it's not a bug but a feature!
You cannot add a menu so you can turn on the items under the menu without first
turning on at least one of the items under the menu. Or in my specific case to
turn on the System Tools menu I must first turn on an item in that menu (i.e.

I've got a Mitsumi SR243T 24x CD-ROM drive, and each time I put in a
disc, be it audio or data, the disc gets ejected after a certain
(random) amount of time. It doesn't matter if something is read from the

I can play movies with ac3 or dts sound without any problems using
totem. In totem however I cannot get it to work. I can choose AC3
Passthrough in sound settings, but it has no effect. Furthermore this
setting is being reverted to "Stereo" when I restart totem.
