Hi
I got the same trouble with Gutsy, but I figured out that, when I "Close" or
Umount the SSH connections, Nautilus comes down to normal.
It looks like Nautilus tries to keep the SSH connections alive spending 100% of
CPU power. Sad thing is, that I now always need to Reconfigure the connection

Seems like the patch didn't help. The real solution for this is to
uninstall esound. Really, it makes life sooo much better, and we do not
install it by default any more either. I actually thought that it gets
uninstalled on upgrades even.
In Hardy we will hopefully replace it with PulseAudio.

I create a pdf using LyX + pdflatex. The pdf file displays ok in evince.
When I print it, the text is very blurry, equations are ok. When I open

Note that this bug does NOT occur on Debian. Debian now has the same
verions as ubuntu:
Ubuntu: evince=2.20.1-0ubuntu1 / libpoppler2=0.6.2-1
Debian: evince=2.20.1-2 / libpoppler2=0.6.2-1
So, either Ubuntu's evince patches have made it impossible to print many
PDFs from evince, or it is a proble

I had the inverse case: trash icon was displaying properly the
situation (showing full and mouseover provides increasing number of
newly deleted items) but the .Trash directory remained empty.

I confirm this bug too, i get the white screen of death when i logout
from a second account while leaving the first one logged out. I can
login back to the first account by blindly typing the password of the
account.
People here have suggested pressing Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to restart the
GUI Shell,

When bringing up the "Move to folder" dialog on a message using shift+ctrl+v
the first entry is 'half-selected' (with the dotted outline, rather than the
highlight).
It is very hard to change this to select another folder with the keyboard
