Thanks, I tried that but something went wrong. I installed the debug symbols as
instructed in the web page and the installation was completed, but when i tried
to make a backtrace, I got message sayin that the symbols were not installed:

I have the same behavior in nautilus -> context menu pops up next to mouse
pointer in stead of cursor -> KO
however in gedit, the context-menu pops up next to the cursor when using the
keyboard -> OK in gedit

disable an application it should create an entry at
~/.config/autostart/something.desktop with a X-GNOME-Autostart-
enabled=false entry on it, what do you have in there?, thanks.

Ubuntu 7.10 - the Gutsy Gibbon
When double clicking txt files, Ubuntu uses Evince instead of gedit.
The result is that Evince reports that can't handle text/plain
documents.
I checked /etc/mime.types and it is correct:
text/plain
I'm using gutsy gibbon and the autostart enable is at false in the
bluetooth-applet.desktop file which correspond to the item i unchecked.
If the item is well disabled what is the point to keep it as entry in the
session files (my session file is linked in this post) ?

for me : context menu next to cursor when using keyboard)
