just follow the steps below-
1.right click on the bottom panel and select " Add to panel"
2. in the dialogue box that appears.. in the " desktop & windows"

Same problem here on a Lenovo T61 Core2Duo, Nvidia NVS 140m (512MB) and 1 GB

I suffer with the same issue, and I have applied the above workaround
(kill nautilus), it seems to stop the high usage of the CPU by nautilus,
but it has broken the screensaver when switching users. I get a blank
(white) screen, and if I type in my password, I get my desktop back.

I have this behaviour as well, and I as well use it primarily for the
exchange connector. I tend to notice it happen when previewing emails
sent by larger commercial companies with images/complex formatting in
them. For example, I get a monthly email from my car insurance that is
loaded with imag

This is not a bug on Gimp; the menu policy changed [1], and the gimp
menu reflects correctly this change.

My gimp didn't crash. It made a notice: "raw image plug-In could not open image"
(I have ufraw-plugin installed)
I also am using amd64, but gutsy.
I also tried to exifprobe the picture (don't know if this is relevant):

Whenever a playlist is changed, it should be saved to disk. I just
wasted two hours of creating a collection manually because it crashed

Sorry - but I have Gutsy and xchm viewer and there is not icon for .chm files.
The icon for .chm filetype shows only when I install gnochm viewer (but I don't
wont this viewer!!!).
